These Terms & Conditions apply when booking online from:

The Olive Grove (hereinafter referred to as the “Restaurant” or “We” or “Us”) located at 100 Regent Street, CB2 1DP, Cambridge, United Kingdom & 90 St John's Street, IP33 1SQ, Bury St Edmunds, United Kingdom.

PLEASE READ THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS CAREFULLY. IF YOU DO NOT WISH TO BE BOUND BY THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS THEN YOU SHOULD NOT ACCESS AND/OR USE THE BOOKING RESERVATION SYSTEM (HEREINAFTER NAMED “BOOKING APPLICATION”). ACCESS AND/OR USE OF THE BOOKING APPLICATION BY YOU SHALL BE DEEMED TO BE YOUR ACCEPTANCE OF THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS.

Subject to applicable legal regulations in force, We may, in our discretion, from time to time amend or otherwise modify the Terms and Conditions of Use. We recommend that You carefully read, each time you BOOK online, the Terms and Conditions as they may affect your rights.

These Terms and Conditions describe the general BOOKING Terms and cConditions between Us and You and the different rights and obligations of the Parties.

For the sake of clarity, these Terms and Conditions apply (also) in case of BOOKING WITH US BY PHONE, during which time your email will be requested to send you these Booking Terms & Conditions and to enable you to cancel the reservation should these be deemed unacceptable.

Time Allowance

The maximum time allowance for all table-bookings is 2 hours from the reservation time. Table-bookings refer to the allocated table and not parts of the restaurant.

If you wish to stay longer, book sections or the whole of the restaurant please email us at management @ the-olivegrove . co .uk (without the gaps) for a quote explaining your requirements. We can stay open until 1am for parties and events and until 5am for special events(subject to a TEN being approved by the Council). Parties that wish to stay on until 5am can be accommodated with adequate notice and subject to Council approval for a TEN(Temporary Event Notice).

Parties

For parties of more than 8 people our Party Menu applies, nevertheless our A La Carte Dinner Menu is also available. Please note that a minimum charge of £30 per person for food only applies when opting for the A La Carte Menu for parties of 8 people or more. This minimum charge applies to all guests above the age of 9 years old. No minimum charge applies to guests below the age of 9.

A pre-order is required 3 working days in advance to ensure availability of items and a speedy service. We will not accept any liability or responsibility if items are unavailable for your event or for any delays incurred when a pre-order has not been received 3 working days in advance.

Deposit

Reservations of more than 8 people are subject to a £5 deposit to confirm the table. Failure to pay the deposit means that your table is not confirmed.

Weddings, Special Events & Venue Hire.

Special events can only be reserved with a bespoke case-by-case basis as they usually require the reservation of sections or the whole of the restaurant.

For such events a bespoke minimum charge & deposit applies that includes venue hire, food, drink & VAT.

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the country in which the Restaurant is headquartered and the Restaurant and any dispute arising out of or in connection with these shall be settled by the competent courts from the headquarter of the Restaurant, excluding the possibility of reference to conflict of laws.
